How it works

1. You choose

Pick a package, pay once, and open your private page. Add the people you want to hear from you, and choose the days.

2. You say it

Record your own voice right in your browser, or add a video so they can see you. Prefer to type? Choose a voice to read it. Say what you would say if you could be there.

3. We wait

Nothing happens while you are alive. When you have passed, someone you trust tells us, and you get 48 hours to say you are here. If no one stops it, your messages are released. No one at Still Hello has to approve it.

Want them to see your face?

Add video to any package. Record up to 3 minutes right on your phone. After the phone call, your loved one gets a private link to watch you, and to watch again whenever they miss you.

Rather type it? Choose who reads it.

A recording is always your own voice. If you would rather type your words, one of these voices reads them aloud when the phone rings. Choosing a voice is free.

What you will hear

Hello, and I hope this is a good time. This is Still Hello, with a message from someone who cared about you very much. I want to be honest with you right away: I'm an AI, not a person. I know that might feel a little strange. They arranged this call ahead of time, so their words could reach you on a day that matters. Would you give me a chance? If you'd rather not, you may simply hang up. Here it is.

The voice says it is an AI before every message. Pressing 9 at the end stops all future messages.

The days they'll miss you most

For the days you can't be sure you'll see

Your grandson is 11, and you have a lifetime of advice for the man he will become. Plan it now, for the moments a grandparent can't be sure of being there for.

A young man at his birthday table with a cake, his phone ringing softly

When he turns 18

Tell him what you wish someone had told you at that age.

A graduate in cap and gown with a diploma, taking a call

When he graduates

Tell him how proud you are, and what to hold on to as he goes out into the world.

A groom under a flower arch with a phone to his ear while petals fall

When he gets married

Give him the advice a good marriage is built on.

A new father rocking his sleeping baby at night, his phone ringing softly

When his first baby is born

Welcome the new little one, and tell him what being a parent taught you.

Choose the day, record what you would say, and we call him when it arrives. And if you are still here when that day comes, we will hold the call, and you get to tell him yourself.

Plan your messages

A grandfather and his son at a ballgame, both reaching up as a foul ball drops toward them

The memory only the two of you share

You took your son to a ballgame and the two of you caught a foul ball. Years from now, the phone rings, and your voice says, "I still think about the day we caught that foul ball together."

A message does not have to be advice. It can be the one memory only you two have. Say it the way you would say it, and it arrives on the day you choose.

Record a memory

Careful by design

Never by surprise

Before any call, each person gets one gentle text asking if they would like to hear from you. Without a YES, nothing is sent.

A person decides

A keeper you name reports your passing. A second keeper confirms. You and your keepers get 48 hours to say it is a mistake. If no one stops it, the messages are released.

Kind to the ear

Calls come between 10am and 7pm their time. We never leave voicemail. Press 1 to hear it again, or 9 to stop for good.

People decide. The machine never forgets.

Nobody wants a machine deciding when you have died, so it doesn't. Here is who does what.

Your keepers tell us

People you trust. They are the ones who let us know, and a second keeper confirms it.

Time to speak up

You get 48 hours to say you are here, and your keepers can stop it too. Nothing is sent until that time has passed with no one objecting.

Our tireless helper delivers

Once the 48 hours pass with no one objecting, an automatic helper takes over. It never forgets a date and never takes a day off, so every call is made on the day you chose, even years from now. It only starts after your keepers have reported and the wait is over.
